Customer Service Representative

Join this leading-edge transportation company and work alongside a fun and innovative team! Ideally suited for an experienced and friendly customer service pro with a background in travel/tourism. This role requires you to be adaptive to rapid change and fluctuating demand, and to maintain accuracy while accommodating multiple requests.

Responsibilities:

Have a thorough understanding of our services and booking systems
Respond to client inquiries and requests in an accurate, appropriate and timely manner via phone, email and chat
Assist clients in an informative and thoughtful way with consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service
Follow department policies, procedures and customer service standards
Keep informed and up-to-date with seasonal, procedural and system changes
Liaise with colleagues and affiliate service providers as required
Work well with the Ridebooker team as a whole, which includes being adaptive to workflow changes, maintaining flexible availability, and pro-active team participation
Happily assist with other duties and projects as assigned

You are:

A natural communicator with great verbal and written communication skills
An excellent and patient listener, able to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet
Diligently attentive to detail, consistently and accurately (always!)
An astute, investigative problem-solver with a sense of urgency and excellent prioritization and time-management skills
Administratively strong, with the ability to stay organized while multi-tasking
Computer-savvy, with the ability to learn new programs and platforms
Motivated, self-driven and able to work well independently with minimal supervision
Committed to continual learning with a keen sense of curiosity. Willing to ask questions and request assistance as needed to move forward with tasks through to completion
A team player with a positive attitude
Able to deliver excellent customer service with enthusiasm!

Assets:

Experience with customer support software like Freshworks or Zendesk
Strong geographical knowledge of BC, Canada and the U.S.
Experience in the travel, tourism or transportation industry
Experience working with an international client base

Compensation, Benefits and Perks:

Full-time remote role - must live in Canada
Daytime shifts - must be available during standard business hours in the Pacific Time Zone (PCT)
Computer set up and software can be provided
Extended health benefits and training allowances available after completion of 3 month probationary period
Starting at $22.00/hour
