- What vehicles do you use between Vancouver Airport and Whistler?
- Our Whistler Shuttle service runs on a combination of full size highway coaches, mini-buses, vans, and mini vans. The vehicle you'll be traveling in is based on several factors including volume of passengers, flight delays, vehicle availability and weather.
- How often does the shuttle service run?
- The Whistler Shuttle leaves Vancouver International Airport (YVR) at least once per hour with service normally starting at 0830 and running until midnight. There is also a 0330 departure for those arriving on late flights (this one actually leaves as soon as all the reserved guests arrive).
- I need a shuttle in the next 48 hours. Is it too late to book a shuttle?
- Reservations between 36 and 48 hours are normally fine, but we take them on a "best efforts" basis. Please ensure that you give us a mobile number and are easily reachable in case we can't take it!
Please contact us first if you need something in the next 36 hours. We'll make a few calls and let you know if we can take the reservation. We'll let you know all your options if we can't take it.
- I really want to ride in a van/mini-bus/bus. If I book can you guarantee the type of vehicle that I will ride in?
- Due to the nature of our service we are unable to make any guarantees regarding the type of vehicle that you will be traveling in. We recommend booking a private transfer if you want a guaranteed vehicle type.
- What is the deal with car seats for children?
- If you are traveling in a vehicle with seat belts then car seats are required by law and we will do our best to provide them. However, car seats are not available in mini-buses and buses that do not have seat belts. Due to the nature of our service we can't guarantee the type of vehicle that you will be riding in. Most of our clients travelling with young children choose a private transfer in order to guarantee riding in a vehicle that can accomodate car seats.
- Can you get me from Whistler to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in time for my early morning flight?
- You'll be fine as long as your flight leaves at 0700 (7 am) or later. But it'll be a really early morning for you!
- What is the difference between the Whistler Shuttle and Whistler Scheduled Bus Service?
- The biggest difference is that the shuttle operates based on the schedules of reserved guests, where the scheduled bus operates based on a rigid schedule. All things being equal, we suggest the shuttle service if you want the shortest wait, and the scheduled service if you just "have to know" when the bus is leaving. Both are great options!
- Do I need to make a reservation for the Whistler Shuttle?
- Yes! Reservations are REQUIRED. We can almost always accommodate reservations made at least 48 hours in advance. Reservations between 12-48 hours in advance are taken on a best efforts basis. Unfortunately, we can't take reservations with less than 12 hours notice.
