Whistler SkyLynx Bus Description

Pacific Coach Lines SkyLynx is the official and *only* scheduled bus service between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Whistler, BC. Limited pickup and drop-off service to Downtown Vancouver hotels is available, as long as a reservation to/from Vancouver International airport is included. Please contact us for more details.

We've partnered with Pacific Coach SkyLynx (the official provider of scheduled bus service between Vancouver Airport & Whistler) to provide online booking. This service provides pickup and drop-off service to all major Whistler hotels (click the "Hotels" tab to see a list of hotels).

A Great Whistler SkyLynx Alternative

The Whistler Shuttle service is an alternative to the scheduled Whistler SkyLynx and has some advantages over the schedule bus. It is particularly appealing if you are traveling in the evning, or you are concerned about missing your schedule bus departure.

Per additional piece of luggage over and above the 2 regular bags + 1 carry on limit. Ski, snowboard, and boot bags are consider "regular bags" when traveling to/from Whistler.

Can I take a mountain bike to Whistler on the bus?: Yes!. However, there is a limit of one bike per passenger and there is a $25 charge.
When should I leave Whistler if I want to make my flight at Vancouver International Airport?: All of our partners recommend a minimum of 5 hours in order to allow for traffic congestion and to ensure that you arrive at the check-in counter in time for your flight. Travel time between Whistler and Vancouver is highly variable based on weather, traffic, and construction delays.
What is the difference between the Whistler Shuttle and Whistler Scheduled Bus Service?: The biggest difference is that the shuttle operates based on the schedules of reserved guests, where the scheduled bus operates based on a rigid schedule.

The shuttle also features more frequent departures, particularly in the evening hours.

All things being equal, we suggest the shuttle service if you want the shortest wait, or are arriving in the evening. We suggest the Whistler SkyLynx bus if you're on a budget or are happy to wait for a scheduled departure.
I want to take a bus from Vancouver Airport to Whistler. Is there room for my ski/snowboard gear?: Yes! The buses are equipped to transport your ski equipment to Whistler.
