What is Walk-On Service?

Our luxury ferry walk-on service is by far the most affordable way to charter private transportation to or from Vancouver Island aboard BC Ferries.

1. Step 1 - A friendly driver picks you up and delivers you quickly to the BC Ferries terminal.
2. Step 2 - Your driver will assist with your luggage as you check-in and board the ferry as a foot passenger (fare not included). Your luggage is checked so you are free to move about the ferry and enjoy the dining facilities and the beautiful BC scenery.
3. Step 3 - Once you have arrived at the other terminal you collect your luggage, and proceed to the arrivals area (its just like arriving at the airport on a flight).
4. Step 4 - Another vehicle will be waiting to whisk you off to your final destination.

You Will Save a Lot of Money

Why is our walk-on service so affordable? We've eliminated the cost associated with having a vehicle and driver sitting in the ferry line-up and on the car deck in two directions. When you charter a vehicle across the ferry you end up paying for at least 4 additional hours of driver and vehicle time each way because the driver has to come home and the vehicle is usually empty! That has to be added into the price.

By boarding the ferry as a foot passenger you will save several hundred dollars each way!

This service is totally dependent on the BC Ferries schedule. Please check the schedule for your desired travel dates using the link below. You are also responsible for your "foot passenger" fees which are collected by BC Ferries at the time of check-in at the ferry terminal.

Pick Times

When choosing a pickup time we recommend leaving for the BC Ferries terminal at least 1.5 hours before the ferry is scheduled to depart. Please contact us before booking if you have questions.
