Why Choose the RideBooker Olympic Shuttle?

  1. Spending Time in Whistler Before and/or After Your Ticketed Event – You want to spend time in Whistler before or after your Whistler Olympic event – not possible with the Olympic Bus Network (OBN). If you book on OBN then you will go directly to the venue and then directly back to Vancouver.  The Whistler Shuttle will allow you to enjoy evening events, concerts and medal presentations.
  2. Day Skiing Whistler Blackcomb During the Games – You want to ski Whistler Blackcomb during the 2010 games. You can’t drive your car to Whistler during the Olympics because there is no public parking available! We drop off at the base of the mountain and we offer up to 30% off lift tickets and ski/snowboard equipment rentals.
  3. Hanging Out in Whistler – Because Whistler will be the heart of this Olympic Games.  If you are staying in Vancouver you’ll want to come spend the day or night in Whistler sight seeing, shopping, or just taking in the Olympic atmosphere.

Getting to Whistler Events From Vancouver

  • RideBooker Shuttle vs Olympic Bus Network (OBN)
    • The Olympic Bus Network (OBN bus) from Vancouver will take you directly to your Whistler venue and then take you directly back to Vancouver. You will have no opportunity to spend time in Whistler Village.
    • The RideBooker Shuttle allows you to spend time in Whistler before or after your event. There are free shuttles from Whistler to all Whistler venues for event ticket holders.
  • Getting to Whistler Olympic Park
    • The Whistler Olympic Park Express is a free shuttle to Whistler Olympic Park for event ticket holders. The Express leaves from the Whistler Olympic Transportation Mall which is a 5 minute walk through Rebagliati Park from our Blackcomb Base Whistler Shuttle stop.
  • Getting to Whistler Sliding Centre
    • The Sliding Centre Event Shuttle is a free shuttle to Whistler Sliding Centre for event ticket holders. The shuttle leaves from the Gondola Transit Exchange which is a 5 minute walk from our Blackcomb Base stop.  For directions from Blackcomb Base to the Gondola Transit Exchange see this map.
  • Getting to Whistler Creekside
    • The Creekside Event Shuttle is a free shuttle to Whistler Creekside for event ticket holders. The shuttle leaves from the Gondola Transit Exchange which is a 5 minute walk from our Blackcomb Base stop.  For directions from Blackcomb Base to the Gondola Transit Exchange see this map.
  • Horseshoe Bay Park & Ride Option
    • The Whistler Shuttle stops at the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal regularly throughout the day.  Park & Ride is available at this location for $12/day.

Getting to Vancouver Events From Whistler & Squamish

Vancouver Airport to Whistler

  • Whistler Shuttle from YVR to Whistler
    • The Whistler Shuttle is your best option travel between Vancouver Airport (YVR) and Whistler during the Olympics because it automatically adjusts to flight delays. The Whistler Shuttle also provides door to door access to every address in Whistler (some addresses require a small additional charge).
  • Whistler SkyLynx Bus (Scheduled) from YVR to Whistler
    • The SkyLynx Bus is the official scheduled bus between YVR and Whistler. This is a great service if you need a bus that leaves at a certain time. Unfortunately, the airlines and Canada Border Services don’t operate on a firm schedule. They will put you on the next bus with availability in the event of a delayed flight. However, given the demand for buses during the games this could result in a longer wait at the airport.

Getting To Whistler From Vancouver Island & The Sunshine Coast

The best way to get to Whistler during the games is to come across the Nanaimo Departure Bay ferry Horseshoe Bay as a foot passenger. The RideBooker Shuttle stops at the BC Ferries Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal regularly throughout the day (schedule). You can also drive across the ferry and park in the Horseshoe Bay parking lot if you like. Once you get to Whistler you can go skiing, catch a free shuttle to your Olympic event, or just hang out in Whistler.
