How to Get to Crankworx and Some Useful Whistler Mountain Bike Info

June 18th, 2009 by Jack Crompton in Useful Information, Whistler Events

Crankworx in Whistler is a great place to see great mountain biking while racing or riding yourself. Music, parties, contests, mountain-biking and much more, really make this one of the events that you have to attend if you mountain bike.

Getting to Whistler with a bike has been a difficult process in the past… not anymore. Ridebooker has developed a service designed for bikers traveling to the 2009 Kokanee Crankworx in Whistler. If you are looking for ways to get you and your bike to Crankworx search no more… Transportation Whistler and Ridebooker.com offer Whistler transfer options that just work.

If you are alone with your bike we suggest our Whistler Skylynx Bus service. Taking your bike on the Whistler bus costs an extra $12.50 and your bike needs to be boxed. If you decide to book your transportation with us online you’ll be asked if you are traveling to Whistler with a bike. The charges are added to the total before checkout.

If you are traveling in a group with a number of mountain bikes our Passenger Van with Trailer (http://www.ridebooker.com/book/airports/yvr/whistler/charter-van-trailer) service is designed with mountain bikers in mind. There is no extra cost for bicycles with this service. Please do note how many bikes you have in the “additional comments” section before checkout. If boxed we can carry 10 bikes. If you cannot box your bikes obviously there is far less space.

If you are traveling with a group of larger than 10 you are best to email us at info@ridebooker.com and have us send you a quote on your Whistler transportation requirements.

There are a lot of great bike shops in Whistler. Make sure to drop in on: Evolution , Katmandu Whistler and the Whistler Bike Co.

If you want information about mountain biking in Whistler… where to go, what’s on and connections to local rides look no further than WhistlerMountainBike.com
